Our Digital Student Support Assistant (DSSA) is ready to help with all your technology questions and concerns. Whether you’re picking up a laptop for the very first time or you’re just curious about digital resources on campus, the DSSA is a valuable resource for students of all technological backgrounds.
Just a few things the DSSA can help with:

- Setting up your VIU computer account
- Secure Wi-Fi access on campus for all your devices
- Navigating VIULearn
- Microsoft Office access for students
- Scanning documents
- Formatting documents
- Troubleshooting technology issues

Our DSSA is located on the Nanaimo campus but serves students at our Cowichan and tiwšɛmawtxʷ campuses as well. They can be reached by phone, text, email, zoom, and in-person.
