Bio

Glenda teaches students the foundations of biology and chemistry, and uses environmental sustainability as a central feature of these disciplines to enable students to learn to use their science knowledge to address complicated environmental challenges. Her research interests include agricultural ecosystems, climate change, environmental science, green chemistry, and sustainability policy and practice in higher education.  Glenda’s students and colleagues at Vancouver Island University continue to inspire her.
